ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the differences in the structures, numbers and phenotypes of the dendritic cells (DCs)at different stages in colorectal cancer (CRC)tissue, and to explore the effect of DCs in the occurrence and development of CRC.Methods 20 cases of CRC tissue were chosen as CRC group, other 20 cases of corresponding para-cancer tissue were chosen as control group.Immunohistochemical staining was used to detect the distribution, the structures, the number of positive cells at different stages;Western blotting was used to detect the expressions of CD1a and CD83.Results The results of immunohistochemical staining showed that DCs scattered among glands or vessels in both groups;the CD1a+imature DCs (imDCs)were round and oval, dendritic processes were faintly visible in both groups, and the number of CD1a+imDCs in experimental group was significantly higher than that in control group (P<0.01).The CD83+ mature DCs (mDCs)were irregular, branched in both groups, and the number of CD83+mDCs in CRC group was significantly lower than that in control group (P<0.01).The results of Western blotting method showed that the expression of CD1a protein was higher and the expression of CD83 protein was lower in CRC group than control group (P<0.01).Conclusion CD1a+imDCs may play important roles in promoting the occurrence and development of CRC;CD83+mDCs may inhibit the occurrence and development of CRC.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the post training needs, training content, training mode and the advantages and disadvantages of the existing training from the general practitioner perspective,in order to provide reasonable suggestions for the management institutions to improve the quality and effect of the post training for all general practitioners. Methods In October,2013 a questionnaire survey was conducted to 197 family physicians for their post training needs, training content and training mode.According to the interview outline,an in-depth individual interview was conducted to 20 leaders and general practitioners from the community health service center in Beijing Xicheng District on the advantages and disadvantages of general medical training. All survey information databases were established using FoxPro 6.0 software and double entry.Package was statistically analyzed with SPSS 19.0 statistical software, qualitative data using rate to represent; interviews with text descriptions, coding classification analysis. Results More than 70% of general practitioners had the demand for strengthening the training of the clinical medicine, the knowledge of humanities and social sciences as well as clinical research methods, but the demand for the training of general medical theory and basic medicine was small, only accounting for 22.50% general practitioners.More than 90.00% of general practitioners were in favor of targeted flexible training methods.More than 85.00% of general practitioners believed that existing training teachers' teaching abilities were very good, and they agreed to open general practitioner training project in medical colleges and universities. The surveyed physicians also made some criticism about too many training departments, low training quality, too many training programs, and training content repetition etc..Conclusion According to the general medical post training needs, human and scientific research of targeted training should be increased by using case discussion, site visit and many flexible and diverse teaching methods and various departments should also be coordinated and the training incentive and evaluation mechanism should be improved to guarantee the quality of training.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the related factors of anxiety and gloomy mentality people aged 60-80 years and investigate the effectiue methods to intervention. Methods A follow-up study was proportional and carried out in Xicheng district of Beijing.Multi-phase,stratified,unequal cluster sampling was adopted to investigate old people in 2011 with WHO-QOL,Memorial University of Newfoundl and Scale of Happiness,Social Support Rating Scale,Self-Rating Anxiety Scale and Self-rating Depression Scale.2342 old people were randomly divided into control group and trial group. The trial group received health education, community social support, lightening the psychological stress in face to face, psychology guiding and group discussion. The control group received general observation only. Results Among 2342 old people,126 (5.3%) obtained anxiety and 201(8.6%) had gloomy mentality. The anxiety in the elderly was significantly related to age, marriment, culture, job, family type, family relationship, housing, income, medical insurance, retirement type, reading, keeping pets, character, training, feeling adjusting, life quality, subjective well-being,social support, depression (all P < 0.05).The depression in the elderly was significantly related to gender, marriment, culture, job, family type, family relationship, housing, income, medical insurance, retirement type, reading, watching plays, character, feeling adjusting, drinking, training, life quality, subjective well-being,social support, anxiety (all P<0.05).Scores of two groups had no significant difference before intervention. The change in scores of anxiety and depression in the trial group was obviously lower than in control group (P<0.05).Conclusions The anxiety and gloomy mentality are common in old people aged 60-80 years in Xicheng District, which independently associated with related factors such as life quality, subjective well-being,social support and so on.After 6 months of treatment, the scores of anxiety and depression in the trial group is obviously lower than in control group.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE@#To observe the relation between the expression of CTNNAL1 and the airway resistance in rats with airway hyperresponsiveness.@*METHODS@#Thirty Wister rats were randomly divided into 5 groups: a normal control group, a 2 d ozone attack group, a 4 d ozone attack group, a 6 d ozone attack group, and a 6 d ozone attack+2 d dexamethasone treatment group (6 rats in each group). The distribution of CTNNAL1 was observed by in situ hybridization; the expression of CTNNAL1 was detected by fluorescence quantitative RT-PCR; the airway resistance was detected in by Buxco pulmonary function analysis system; and the relevance of the expression of CTNNAL1 and the resistance of respiratory tract in rat with airway hyperresponsiveness were analyzed.@*RESULTS@#CTNNAL1 was distributed in bronchial epithelial cells, goblet cells, endothelial cells, and the alveolar wall. With the increase of the ozone attack, the expression of CTNNAL1 mRNA gradually reduced, the airway hyperresponsiveness was aggravated, and the airway resistance was increased.@*CONCLUSION@#During airway hyperresponse, the reduction of CTNNAL1 mRNA can increase the airway resistance. There is a negative correlation between the reduction of CTNNAL1 mRNA and the airway hyperresponsiveness. CTNNAL1 is an adhesion molecule related to airway hyperresponsiveness susceptibility.

ABSTRACT

Objective To observe the effect of shenfu injection on ischemia/reperfusion injury in skeletal muscle of rats. Methods To make a model of ischemia/reperfusion injury in skeletal muscle of rats, and observe the plasma level of LDH, CK, MDA and the change of MDA, MPO, W/D in the skeletal muscle. Result Shenfu injection can reduce the heightened plasma level of LDH, CK, MDA and MDA, MPO, W/D of the skeletal muscle, lighten the injury of the ultrastructure. Conclusion Shenfu Injection can protect ischemia/reperfusion injury in skeletal muscle.

ABSTRACT

Objective To elucidate the features of the expression of P53,proliferation and apoptosis in gestational trophoblastic tumor(GTT).Methods Ten cases of normal placenta,10 cases of complete hydatidiform mole(CM),20 cases of invasive hydatidiform mole(IM)and 19 cases of choriocarcinoma(CCA)paraffin-embedded tissues were studied.P53 and PCNA were detected with immunohistochemistry, apoptosis was detected with terminal deoxy-nucleotidyl transferase-mediated dUTP-biotin nick end labeling(TUNEL).Results In NP,CM,IM and CCA,the P53 indexes(P53-Ⅰ)were 4.12%,21.68%,39.61% and 27.39% respectively with significant differences among them(P
